Harry Osborn is left standing on the Statue of Liberty’s torch after proposing to Lilly Hollister who is hesitant to make a decision as to marry him. Meanwhile Carlie finds a baggie full of Spider-Tracers under Vins’ (Peter Parkers’ roommate) bed. Meanwhile Spidey is getting his butt kicked by Menace Yes, the plot thickens!
I am loving this arc. Most of this issue is Spider-Man and Menace going at it. Menace has the chance to Kill Spider-Man but just leaves him practically dead for the police to pick him up. Then we find Menace flying his glider to the campaign headquarters of Hollister for New York. What’s up with that? You’ll have to read this issue to find out, but you just won’t believe it! We finally find out who Menace really is.
I am such a fan of this “Brand New Day” Spider-Man. Again, Guggenheim is hammering home a fantast story, while John Romita JR. portrays each panel with emotion and art that is just classic! If you are not reading Amazing Spider-Man or dropped it when they launched Brand New Day, you are really missing some very special stories. This is a great arc!
