Childhood Lost

Using the title I am referring to the second story in this issue. I know that everything in the DC Universe has been re-booted at least three times in the last 30 years, but it is still good to read quality stories from the pre-crisis world. The story takes an odd twist with Clark saying goodbye to his memories in the old Kent family home, only to find out that it will be saved thanks to quick thinking and the genius of Pete Ross. I've always gotten a kick out of how Pete knows Clarks' alter-ego i.d. but has never told Clark This.

The first story "Viking From Valhalla" was entertaining, Valdemar is just such a lovable character, it's a shame they did not use him more. The though or reversing the story-line from "A Yankee In King Arthurs Court" was very good.
