As is true for most of the early issues of House of Mystery, the stories are just plain good. My favorite one from this issue is "The Beast with Three Lives". In it we see the age old prejudice of man come forth. Not only are his friends not satisfied with his discovery, they frighten it and cause it to become defensive. What follows is just what we think would happen, the alien is destroyed rather than trying to reason with it. Lastly this book sports an awesome cover collaboration by Bernard Baily & Dick Dillin.
