The first seven issues of this volume of the Conan saga has been devoted to a family history that very much needed to be told. Conan, son of Conaldar, grandson of Connacht now has a lineage that we, the readers, can enjoy!
That being said, Conan needs to return to the East to "tread the jeweled thrones of the Earth under his sandaled feet!" The northern wastelands of Cimmeria are a good start, but the sooner we see great cities ripe for plundering the happier I'll be!
