The Punisher is the Ronin this time. The Punisher Ronin has to eliminate all those that have killed his clan, including his wife and daughter. Even though he is efficient in his task, he does not go to the source of the killings. It is this failure to be consistent with his principle of revenge and clan duty that fails to make sense. It is this inconsistency that makes this issue attractive; it leaves us thinking of what is motivating the Ronin's behavior and the inherent weakness of his logic and sense of duty.
I see this series of the 5 Ronins as a meditation of five key characters in the Marvel universe that can benefit from a historical placement to see another dimension to their character.
