Doctor With An Edge

This was actually a good read! Often, I find these "new" series by Marvel as fishing expeditions. They rarely use aknown writer or artist, and seem to be only concerned in seeing what kind of interest they attract. Never really jumping into a project with both feet so to say. As i stated early though, this was not the case here. Rick Remender did an excellent job of weaving a story that was both fresh and respectful of continuity. And Jefte Palo's art fit both the chracters and the story very well. I don't want to give too much away, but I want to drop a little teaser, because I think more people will be interested when they read this. In this issue, Jericho Drumm manages to battle Dormammu (one of the Underworld's heavyweights), pi$$ off Doctor Strange and engage in a spectacular battle with Victor Von Doom! Partner this with the Eye of Agomotto revealing some huge secret to Doom but not Voodoo and well, you have yourself the makings of a great new series. This was also one of the first issues where I appreciated all of the extras in the back. Use them with more obscure characters Marvel!
