Don't Mess With Deadpool

Thunderbolts 130

The Thunderbolts orders, take down Deadpool. Osborn sees him as the one loose end from the Skrull Invasion that could blow his new image out of the water. But as any Deadpool fan knows, this is easier said than done. Especially for a rag-tag group of unproven Thunderbolts! Diggle had no problem writing Deadpool into his Thunderbolt book. In fact, you'd almost think this is a Deadpool book. The suprise of the book for me though came from the art work. Bong Dazo does the work, and what a great artist he is. It's hard to put my finger on it, but he has a little classic MacFarlane thing going crossed with some Land. Really fun images to look at. The crisp detail is amazing! So of course it goes without saying that Deadpool has the upper hand the entire time, absolutely owning the Thunderbolts Lite. But if there is one thing I have learned about Deadpool, he always manages to screw everything up. So stay tuned... Here is a little quote that is classic:

Deadpool commenting on Headsman telling him he almost took down Spider-Man: PAL, LEMME TELL YA, THE LIST OF SCHLUBS WHO ALMOST KILLED SPIDEY IS LONGER THAN MY J. JONAH JAMESON!

Deadpool continues: AND HEY, SPEAKING OF HEADS..... HEADS UP!

(Deadpool rolls a grenade between Headsman's feet).
