I don't know why everybody rags on me so much for liking this title. It is absolutely fantastic and this issue proves that.
Peter David's strengths really lie in character interaction. Seeing dialog between the women in the issue is some top notch stuff. It had me in stitches.
Vincenzo Cucca's pencils are absolutely gorgeous. I love his lines. I would complain that She-Hulk might look a little too "soft" or pretty, but other than that, everything is really well handled.
There's not much more to say than that.
Bottom line is that this issue was a really fun read. Invisible Woman makes an appearance and you'd swear it was Jessica Alba, complete with a "
y'think" comment thrown in there by her. It was a nice nod to the movies, which Peter David is a fan of.
I give this one 5 out of 5 stars because in my honest opinion, anyone can pick this issue up and will more than likely enjoy it. There's a little bit of everything for everyone and Cucca's drawings will have you drooling over each panel.
I want more Lady Liberators, you might be onto something PAD.
