Executed with Precision and...

My first encounter with Iron Fist was in the pages of Frank Miller's Daredevil and later in the pages of Iron Fist and Power Man. I always had an affinity to Iron Fist due to my enjoyment of Bruce Lee martial arts movies and the Kung Fu TV series with David Caradine. Now Ed Brubaker gets a crack at Iron Fist and executes it with precision and intelligence. The script is a master stroke interweaving historical sketches and current events and exposing the inner workings of Rand’s character, what he values and what he is willing to fight for. I’m looking forward to exploring the many dark corners Iron Fist will shed light on in the coming days as I read the Immortal Iron Fist Director's Cut for the first time.
