"And Now -- The Thing!"
Reed comes back to his experiment and it is a success. Now Ben can change from human to the Thing and back again at will. Ben goes out to celebrate but there seems to be a side-effect, Ben's temper is even shorter and nastier than before. Janus comes to plead with Reed to enter the Negative Zone but Reed will not let him, but Janus will not be deterred. He stuns Reed and enters the Zone anyway as Reed wakes up just in time to watch Janus enter.
