For Better or Worse

After bad mouthing the CIA and shooting off the UN a final realization dawns on Nick Fury, he is what he is trying to fight against because an old soldier never changes and an old soldier never vanishes into the quietness of the night he must be pushed into it.

It’s obvious that Ennis holds little regard to authority in general. This thinking permeates his work in Fury and delivers memorable insights to world events real and imaginary. It also brings a European perspective to world events rarely felt in American letters. For better or worse Fury does bring a perspective to life and makes you think while entertaining.
