For Tomorrow

So this was a great book, firstly because it’s Batman 700 and from what I can figure the longest non renumbered title still in wide circulation. While everyone else is renumbering there titles to bigger and higher numbers Batman has run for 700 issues Consecutively.

The story leapfrogs through time, starting with Bruce Wayne Batman, then to Dick Grayson batman, Damien Wayne Batman, Terry McGinnis Batman, & DC 1,000,000 Batman. I had to read it twice, but it involves a Professor that created a time device and he jumps all over time. The Art is the real selling point, Tony Daniels, David Finch, Andy Kubert & Frank Quitely are amazing and all in one issue is great.

I’m not a huge fan of galleries at the end of an oversized and priced issue, that said this is Batman and Batman is what got me into comics so I’m cool with the Gallery.

I really like the Inclulsion of Terry in the Batman Mythos, I loved Batman Beyond and I’m super excited to get the New Mini Series. This pretty much covers what all batman fans like, if it’s the cartoons you get Terry, is it’s the Adam West show you get a little feel of that in the first story. All in all it’s a good book, with a little confusing story but that could just be me. I recommend reading it if you’re a Batman fan or a DC fan in general.

4 our of 5.
