Awesome sauce! I know a few places had their exclusives done with that series. Would have been cool if we had our very own CCL exclusive to support on future projects

CCL has participated in exclusive covers in the past:

Personally, I've never understood how these personalized store exclusives help a small retailer. I've known a few shops that participated. Back then, there was a 500 quantity minimum to get your store's name on the cover. After the hype was all said and done, each store had hundreds of copies leftover that they threw in their fifty cent bins. You can't really sell them for a premium, because no one is really collecting them all. The retailer cover itself doesn't magically cause new people to come to your store, and the only people who might buy it are already regular customers.

I don't know, just my pessimistic two cents.

Yeah 500+ is definitely too much of a print run to make it an exclusive. Ive done them in the past and max was maybe 100 copies depending on how many variants (foils etc). Ive done really well with smaller print runs (50 trades/virgins, 25 foils, 10 Metals) with a partner or solo. Have to factor in quality of artist working on it as well. But it helps get the name out to the masses (think of it as a buisness card). But it is a gamble either way in todays market
