Both teaser trailers are finally out. To get you up to speed, here they are:

Superman Teaser Trailer

Fantastic Four: First Steps Teaser Trailer

Going strictly by what you see in these trailers alone, which movie has you more hyped?

For me, I rewatched the Superman trailer several times, then watched many reactions to it just to see what others thought. I only watched the Fantastic Four trailer once, and didn't feel the need to watch it again. That doesn't mean I thought it was bad, it just didn't grab me like the Supes trailer did. The only real complaint I have about the FF trailer is that the Thing's voice sounds all wrong.

I have actually watched both of these trailers recently, at different times. My initial impression is that I would like the Fantastic Four movie better. First off, I am a sucker for the retro-futuristic style that they are doing. Always been a fan of that. Secondly, it looks like we're getting a real Galactus and not some dumb looking cloud. And thirdly, is that John Malkovich playing the Red Ghost? Super Apes!!!!

However, after watching both trailers back-to-back I am starting to waver. I have the utmost confidence in James Gunn and this looks like the best Superman movie in, i don't know, a long time. Who knew that Nathan Fillion would be a perfect Guy Gardner? The JSA? Dancing Mr. Terrific looks terrific. And oh my gosh, Krypto, the Super Hound! That will sell a lot of toys.

So, I don't know. I will be watching both of these to be sure but if I had to pick one.................................I would probably go Marvel. Big Grin

The Thing's voice does not sound right. Probably can't do anything about it at this point but it's just off. Should be modulated to sound more "rocky".

I have gotten hyped up for every superman trailer this century and this one looks better than the rest. Having said that the other movies all fell short. While I'm not a huge FF fan the trailer makes it look like the MCU is back on track. I'll definitely be seeing both movies at some point but if I have to choose which one I'm more hyped about it's gotta be supes.

I think they absolutely can fix it. If they can fix how Sonic looked after the poor reception of his first film's trailer, then they can lay down a new audio voice track for the Fantastic Four. Unfortunately, I don't see a lot of chatter online about his voice. Not many are talking about it, probably because so many newer "fans" have never read the comics and so don't know anything about how he should sound.

Nathan Fillion's hair is a crime against humanity. Gunn could've easily had his hair similar to what it was on Buffy when he played Caleb.

That being said, looks like James Gunn is already trying to make Superman look like a team up movie. Gunn can make whatever claims he wants, but I know what you're doing here Gunn. You're trying to trick the stupid kiddies into thinking your Superman film might be like Spiderman No Way Home and Deadpool and Wolverine where it's going to be cameo galore.

Can't say I blame him because massive team up movies are the best bet to make a lot of money at the box office these days since superhero fatigue has done serious numbers to the superhero genre. You know it's bad when an upcoming team up movie in Thunderbolts can easily underperform when we go off of tracking sites like this.

Though funny Jurassic World Rebirth is tracking high. Those dinosaurs are the real stars of Hollywood.
