Four years wasted

There was nothing shocking at the end since it was spoiled in Uncanny X-Men a few issues ago, so any tension or suspense for the Kitty plot was completely lost.

I'm not a big fan of Cassaday's art or the moody coloring used, but when they went with standard coloring in the super-hero scenes it brought forth even more flaws in the art. That said, I thought the Kitty scenes were some of the best stuff I've ever seen Cassaday do. I found the entire Colossus plotline indecipherable due to not being able to follow the art.

The whole Colossus plotline was pretty pointless in the end. Even more pointless, the middle twelve issues of this series. Nothing comes from the Danger arc, except an exceptionally stupid character, or the Hellfire Club arc. It was all just such a waste of time.

So, it took 25 issues, and four years, to bring Colossus back and get rid of Kitty for a while (until Havok and the Starjammers save her in a year)?
