This series turned out to be exactly what I was hoping it would be. I thoroughly enjoyed the Front Line books that have accompanied all of the major story arcs since Civil War. This is Front Line for Siege. I am not really sure why they dropped the Front Line moniker. It most likely has something to do with sales, or of, for the original titles.
Once again we find ourselves riding shotgun with renegade reporter Ben Urich as he chases down the truth despite the apparent dangers. The big event that he is chasing down this time? The destruction of Soldier Field in Chicago and the consequential deaths of thousands. Being the seasoned veteran that he is, Urich smells a rat and convinces Volstagg (the accused God at the middle of this controversy) to accompany him on his long journey back to Asgard.
This story has all the makings of a classic Front Line series. If you are in the mood for watching a Marvel event from the perspective of civilians, then this is the book for you.
