One would think that after spending so much time and creative energy (one would assume) Geoff Johns would actually develop a story that is worth such a title and presses. To have such a lame finish as this title has is simply inexcusable. The whole premise of this story resides in Superboy Prime’s maniacal focus on being better than Superman. With every conquest Superboy Prime meets a failure because that is his character, his fate. No matter what he does he can’t escape the fate bestow on him. This is a simple concept, but Geoff can’t end the story without introducing artifacts that bring the story from the realm of a super-hero comic to a satire of the comic reading public; for this is the conclusion that I arrive after reading the last two concluding pages. Geoff simply run out of story and had to use what ever device came to mind to put one on us.
