If there was one thing DC did right in the late 70's, it was the Suspense/Horror compendiums. Granted the implosion they had from over-marketing in the late 70's nearly killed the company, but these books did sell. I personally loved the idea of three to five stories in each issue. When I was 13 that was a true bargain. Granted they can't replace the iconic titles of JLA, Spider-man or Green Lantern; but when you were short on cash they were an option. It was too bad that this book along with several others had to take the cut to keep the company afloat.
