Good Story Pacing and Art

Mark Waid has a good story in The Traveler. There is expected complexity of time travel and the regrets of the main protagonist revolving around his love interest and the inability to tell her all that is required for understanding. It has villains that come from a different time/dimension. What it fails to explain is how he can interact with his other self to physically if they are sharing the same time-frame. This may be answered in future issues, but is not evident at this time.

I like both the pace of the story and the art. It shows that there has been quiet a time for development of the plot and character planning. Lets hope we see more in the future.
