Good but not Consistent

Blood Ties is meant to be a prequel to Kevin Smith’s Green Hornet. It’s meant to explain the animosity that develops between the Green Hornet and the Juuma clan as the Green Hornet cleans up the gang infested society of Century City.

Blood Ties has great elements that enrich the Green Hornet back ground, especially the Green Hornet’s methodology for mobster management; becoming the greater mobster in town.

The reading experience is good and the art is in some cases very good, but not consistent. I think; half of the story is very well executed, with the second half not to the same level. I can’t explain this diminishing quality as the issue progresses. Compare to other comics the art still is good but not consistent.
