Peter David and Robin Furth have been adapting Kin's Dark Tower epic for many issues. Their work continues to surprise me as they enrich the myth of the Dark Tower. This is an adaptation that tries successfully to fill the gaps left in King’s telling much like Tolkien did for the Lord of the Rings. There is much to delight new and old readers.
