This was an issue full of reveals. Once again, it seems as though this book is starting to take a slow turn in the right direction.
Lets start with the cover. I love covers that highlight one character with a stark background. Add to that, that I love Rockslide, and you have a winner. Dodson does a nice composing this one.
Keeping with the art, the interior of this book still bugs me. I am still not sure however, if it is the pencils or the colouring. I think it is the colouring, because everything looks so bland and washed out. I'd like to see this book crisper, with work by someone like Joe Caramagna (Avengers: Initiative).
The story was not too bad. It flipped between the team's mission of Krakoa and Dust's conversation with Donald Pierce. Each of these storylines drops a major reveal. And both reveals were very interesting in my opinion.
************Spoiler Alert***********
Dust reveals to Donald Pierce that she is dying. She never says how, but it is a genuine teary moment. Hopefully she turns out to be okay because I really enjoy her character. The second reveal is the one that I find the most interesting. It turns out Ink is not really a mutant. Rather, his tatoo artist is! So this means that all the people that In's tatoo artist has worked on might have superpowers. Very interesting twist in my opinion. I can't wait to meet this artist.

In the end, I thought this was a decent book. Had the colour been a little better I may have given it a better grade. As it stands though, i am going to stick with this series a little longer.
