It was refreshing to see this series matter for a change. Issue #235 was the first good issue of Legacy in a good long while. In fact, even Greg Land's art (which I normally hate) wasn't too bad!
For the first time since the Mutant Massacre, I genuinely feel as though an X-Adversary has the X-Men's number. Bastion's masterful planning and ruthless execution puts our favourite mutants in a deadly game of "cat and mouse". And strangely enough, it is the X-Men donning the costume of "mouse"!
Both the timing of the action and script was very well layed out. It can't be easy telling a story that is comprised of three mini-stories. And as I said above, the art was tolerable.
Warlock plays the role of saviour and another X-Man bites the dust.
This was a great issue, and works well to further the storyline of Second Coming.
