I was really looking forward to seeing the Mighty Avengers smack down the Fantastic Four. While this issue gave me a little taste of the beating I was looking for, ultimately it ending like it always does, with everyone kissing and making nice.
The Hercules/Thing rivalry could be awesome, but I am sure we will never see this developed. It is interesting though, that I find more intrigue in seeing heroes fight heroes than heroes fighting villains.
Slott does a nice job of leaving us hanging with this issue. And despite his crazieness, Pym seems to have a real goal in mind for the Mighty Avengers....we just don't know what it is yet!
