This is a great collection of short stories by Nat Gertler and various artists. Basically the front cover blurb says it all, "There's a superhero. He saves the day. But what effect does he have on everyone else's life?" The great storytelling twist here is that we never actually meet or see The Factor. No one does. The shorts all focus on other folks in NYC and around the U.S. as they go about their daily lives and how the presence of a super-hero effects them directly and indirectly. It's a very entertaining and engaging read. Probably one of my favorite smaller press books in a long time.
