Gruesomely Darkly Entertaining

I am not a big DC fan, but a friend talked me into checking this story arc out. Over the years I have moved in and out of the DC universe, so at first I thought I may not be able to grasp this story. And, after reading 52 I had a bad taste in my mouth for DC arcs.

But, Darkest Night has hit the ground running! I loved this book! It is a bit dark, and a bit gruesome, but what an entertaining story. I am going to get all the titles in this arc, and enjoy each one.

The art work was fantastic, and the story really grabbed me. I could not believe what happened to Hawkman and Hawkgirl. It is going to be interesting to see how the darkest night effects the DC universe.

This arc has restored my interest in DC titles. I am looking forward to following this story arc.

Don't miss this. It's a thriller!
