Millar's Nemesis is definitely motivated by breaking all the rules written, unwritten and imagined to exist. One would never have seen the content in this book ten years ago. Comics have definitely changed.
There are twist galore in each of Millar's Nemesis issues, one toping the other; an endless series of twists and leave the reader shocked and mesmerized at the same time. Can one mind really come up with all this material, I guess if you have Millar's talent for the unexpected then it is possible, proof is as close as the pages of the funny book. Yes, a long time ago comics were the funny books. Now there is not much of funny in them; this is typified by Millar's Nemesis in spades.
I have come across two series that have proven to be increasingly better developed as new issues are placed on the readers hands. This is the case for Nemesis, so Millar has definitely arrived with a treatment to rival Kick-Ass and that will make an amazing block buster movie leading the way for other great talent to make comics worthy of further development.
