I'm just not feeling this book. I understand that it is meant to be a way to reunite the heart and soul of the Avengers; I'm just not so sure that it is succeeding.
I guess the first sticking point for me is the status of Asgard and the Asgardians. I know Marvel isn't known for their air-tight continuity, but trying to follow the current happenings of Asgard through the various books out right now is downright difficult! Hela for instance, is everywhere at once. She is good, she is evil, Thor is saving her, she is killing Thor, and so on. Keep it simple Bendis.
Secondly, I don't think the main idea of the book is coming across at all. These three are not bonding while trapped...well, wherever it is that they are trapped. The closest I have seen of this was the three talking about who bedded Hellcat. Which is about as sincere as...well, it's just not sincere!
I guess, I just feel as though everything has been spinning inside of a giant funnel cloud since SIEGE, and in order for readers to be able to follow, they have to focus on one spiralling spec at a time. Next to impossible, and not very interesting.
I'll buy the fifth and final issue in this mini-series, but only because I bought the first four. But thanks to throw away series such as these, I have been slowly trimming my Avengers books piece by piece.
