It's a BOY!

Seriously, I could have got more excited from watching a woman give birth..

This Lady Bullseye story arc was going so well up until this concluding issue. The writing just lacked strength and structure here, the narrative is usually really firm and is what holds the story together from panel to panel, but this issue just felt a bit too cliché. This conclusion was over before it even started, everything happened too quickly! It was one of those conclusions where you just feel let down because it feels as if the story has ended in a slightly rushed. The fight in Matt's house for some reason ended in his upstairs bedroom?!.. and then progressed onto some rooftops?! I'm sorry.. why?

There was hardly any dialogue, and it seems as if Ed Brubaker lost all sense of how powerful some of these characters are, it didn't match up. Iron Fist was taken down by Tigress and Black Tarantula.. COME ON, THIS GUY HAS TAKEN DOWN FAR MORE POWERFUL GUYS THAN THESE TWO!! Master Izu is starting to bore me now as well, he was funny and seemed like an interesting character for a few issues, but now, it just feels like a cocky Jackie Chan is stuck inside the body of Mr. Miyagi. Yawn.

Warning, issue spoiler ahead, although its not very exciting, BELIEVE ME, once you've it, you won't even realise it was meant to be a spoiler. That's how I felt while reading it anyway. Pfft.

The way the plot ended as well was particularly uneventful and anti-climatic! Daredevil get's a pathetic offer from Lady Bullseye to join and be the new leader of the Hand.. he declines and she kicks him. Then it just trails off back into Matt Murdock trying to decide whether to deal with this law suit regarding his wife being taken into the custody of her parents. Then we see Lady Bullseye and her new friends are taking a trip to Spain, to go get 'you know who' presumably. Not all that exciting to be perfectly honest.

The artwork was good though, as it always is, its got a very dark tone to it which is nice.

Iron Fist has played a pretty big part in this story arc, his bits in the previous issue were great

I didn't know Iron Fist was in this book. I would have picked it up. Rand and Murdock make a good team.
