About Jo-Jo Comics
Jo-Jo Comics started out its publication history as a funny animal comic book, but by the time of publication of issue #7, the public was hungry for jungle-themed titles. Victor Fox, rather than abandoning the title, changed it to keep with the times. The hero of his title was, of course, Jo-Jo Congo King. Jo-Jo always had a jungle girlfriend, first played by Gwenna, who would be replaced by Tanee.
Jo-Jo would return later in publication at Fox as Jungle Jo for a 4-issue run in 1950.
There are two issues numbered as #7 and no issue #13.
