As a Green Lantern, Hal Jordan has been sent to the planet of M'Brai to settle what seems to be a planetary dispute. Once there he discovers that three races that inhabit the planet war against each other. Soon he finds himself a captive of the highly evolved Queln who wish to see the other two races subjugated.
