*Jacob Stegner has seen two of his teammates die, and the third is lost. He is destitute, waiting at the site of the ruined Chateau. Strangely he finds that, in his reverie, he has failed to notice that he has been surrounded by house cats. Their owner, a bag lady, tells Stegner that Anders is alive, and gives him the identity of the Brezina Sisters. Stegner, invigorated, resumes the search. In New Mexico, Bruttenholm is despondent over having sent the men to their fate. Varvara consuls him, and contributes knowledge of the vampiric Brezina Sisters, and of their association with Baron Konig. Hellboy, a mere boy, plays ball and reads Lobster Johnson comic books. We see Anders in the loving clutches of the Sisters, as they slowly bleed him. Stegner's team catches them, though, and end the ladies' existence. Anders is sent home for medical attention. *Source: Warlock
