If a frost giant falls in the woods....
This was a great book. That's all I have to say, the art was amazing, the story was like something from a Viking saga, and it made Thor out to be the badass I always knew him to be. In it Thor was more the hero of Asgard because there really wasn't any one else for the job. He was sort of like an angst ridden teenager, trying to distance himself from his family and doing his best to piss off dear old dad (Maybe because Odin never took him ogre hunting or something?) As I said before, the art was amazing. It was like a painting you might see in a book of Nordic gods, not a comic, and I was excited to turn the page. Which is a rarity for me because I'm such a jaded ass when it comes to Thor related stuff. I usually expect a lot when it comes to Thor, he is my favorite Marvel character after all, and this is one of the few titles that actually satisfied me.
In short, get this book. Let Marvel know that we, as fans of the thunderer, that Thor is one of greatest characters to be thought of by that porn mustache god known as Stan Lee.
I give it nine and a half giant skulls out of ten.
