I was not expecting much from this book. Movie tie in books tend to be mediocre at best. They are tied into a movie which will often ignore and in some case down right contradict the long history of the property the movie is about. So I was shocked when I read it and actually enjoyed it. It is a fairly good Destro story that showed the history of the clan and established Destro as a bad ass. All while not trouncing all over the already established GI Joe history. IDW has really done some good work with the GI Joe offshoot book and this one continues in that vein.
