Eric Powell meets Mike Mign...

This series is everything I love about comics and I just can’t describe how cool this comic is with words alone! It’s quirky, funny, fast paced, and beautiful to look at! Thomas hall is the writer and he does an awesome job because if anyone else besides Eric Powell tackled this idea I don’t think they would have succeeded. Daniel Bradford’s art is inspired by Mike Mignola’s work yet he has his own twist that makes it his own and it works well for this book. If you can, picture in your head an older man, who talks like Elvis with a Mexican accent kicking monster rear end all over the place. No complicated plot lines just pure action and feel good dialog. My only regret is that this is only a mini-series and not an ongoing title. Well worth a read if you can find it.
