Superboy Prime Gets His At Last!!!!?!?!?!? A Letter to Geoff Johns...
Ahhh Goeff Johns... I've heard people beat you up on the forums and podcasts but I've never been a part of that crowd. You're stories have always been enjoyable and fun to read no matter what you do to the history of my beloved characters. I've always defeneded you and still will... even with this huge stumble in thought. Superboy Prime was never a character I've enjoyed. I honestly never cared. This story you've constructed though made me cringe numerous times. While Superboy Prime has always been a cry baby, was it necessary to amplify that effect? I understand you wanted to have fun and interject some sort of the real world into the story but you're choice here was terrible. It disturbs the flow of the art work and doesn't exactly make sense. Why didn't he seek the real person responsible? You... I can't say I was too fond of the final panel but I understand the choices made. All in all I didn't enjoy this at all. It felt as if you were too wrapped up in the other stories of Blackest Night to focus on this one. Honestly if I read Superman Secret Origins and then this and someone told me it was the same writer I would swear they were wrong.

I agree on thre main topic of this review, but I was glad to see that some substance was finally given to Super-Boy Prime and his supporting cast. Kudos to Johns for a marketable story...
