Creepy #1 Dark Horse Comics

Being a fan of Horror Comics and all things creepy, Now with the re-launch of the classic Creepy by Dark Horse I have another outlet to feed my Horror addiction. While I never got a chance to read Creepy when it first was published, I always wanted to read them but my parents wouldn’t buy the for me until I was a little older, unfortunately the title was cancelled before I was old enough to read them. Creepy contains 6 tales of horror. All of the art in the book is black and white and each story is drawn by a different artist. There is the usual segue between stories given to us by Uncle Creepy himself.

“The Curse” is about a young man who can alter what people perceive as reality. This tale is pretty dark and looks like it got some potential.

“Hell Hound Blues” is about two greedy LP Collectors trying to track down a rare pressing, and find more than they bargained for!

“Chemical 13” Is a tale about Nazi’s testing a new gas on prisoners and it having some unexpected side effects, like creating a horde of flesh eating zombies!

“All the Help You Need” is about a weight loss camp that will help you lose weight or die trying!

“Loathsome Lore” is a informational piece about the Devil and some Famous people who may have made a bargain for fame.

“Daddy and the Pie” is a classic story from the original Creepy, It’s about an alien crash landing in a rural farm community and being taken in by a Family. While this story isn’t a horror story per se it is still an excellent read!
