BUY THIS BOOK! ***caution, spoilers***
Here we are, at issue 11 of the relaunch of this title that had taken a deserved rest. If curiosity alone hasn't pulled you in to check out an issue...if all of the teasers (like Thor's hammer falling to Earth months in advance of his return in the pages of Fantastic Four) didn't pull you back...if the gorgeous Coipel covers weren't enough, I'm telling you to pick up this issue and give this title it's due consideration because it is THE BOOK to get this month.
Now, some of you HATE spoilers. Personally, I'm not built that way, but, if that's you, close your eyes or hit the 'back' button...because the most memorable part of this issue is when the Thunder God calls upon the ghost of Captain America, Steve Rogers, vowing vengeance for his murder, should the good Captain desire. I don't know if it's the fact that I miss the real Cap so much or if it is a somber Thor vowing to open a can of kick-@$$ that did it, but this was, for me, one of the memorable moments of the year for Marvel.
You should check this title out if you haven't already for a variety of reasons. It's at a great jumping-on point, it keeps it's distance from the cross-over fever rampant in other books, and it is visually stunning. Two thumbs, WAY up.
