Killapalooza, music mayhem!!!

I was told about this comic by Simon over at ComicImpact.com, he told me too check it out as I'm a fan of comics with musical themes (aka, Scott Pilgrim etc) and comic book battle action!

So I did, after trying too locate a copy of #1, but eventually I found a copy and gave it a read!

I enjoyed what I read, the opening scene was very good and very funny. The artwork here is gritty and rough, but it fits the musical side of the book well, as this is all about a band of punk rockers who are genetically mutated killing machines in their spare time! The tone is set very well from start too end, and it's an all round great issue in terms of writting and artwork!

The character relations will become clearer after the next issue, or so I hope (as this is only a 6 issues mini series), because in this issue, it was a little hard too keep ontop of who each character was, and how they knew each other.

But a decent premise for this exciting mini series, and I can't wait too read more! I will say again, that the opening scene was totally fricking awesome! I'm just waiting for this series too pan out a bit more.
