This series has been surprisingly entertaining. There are obvious similarities to "Marvel Zombies"(minus the quirky tone), but there is a bit of "Crossed" and "The Punisher" mixed in as well. There's no connection to this "Franken-Castle" series, which would have made me hate Frank Castle if not for the "Punishermax" title to keep me interested in him. Thus far his voice has been true to form and his character traits fit his classic image. There are many super-powered heroes and villians still around and it has been surprising to see who has moved up on the food chain and who has fallen victim to the murderous hordes.
A worthy read, in my opinion, while waiting for Castle to return to his regular series as a human again.
