My two cents on 50 Girls 50 #2

As the crew searches for their way home, they eventually arrive at an alien world where they attempt to salvage supplies. Upon landing the crew is attacked and several of them nearly killed by a local reptilian culture. Narrowly escaping the ship’s navigator (Oksana Bakula) has to face the dilemma of what to do about the remaining aliens below. It’s a deep moment, and honestly one I didn’t see coming.

After the previous issues antics, we’re given a story that’s full of action and drama as head writers Doug Murray and Frank Cho elevate their fledging space opera to a point where we the audience and their characters have to face an unexpected and rather big moral dilemma. The story takes everything from the first issue and builds on it, creating one awesome ride.

The art in this issue supplements the story well as Axel Medellin turns in another excellent effort. He finds a way to easily illustrate and convey the weight and excitement in this issue, while maintaining the beauty and originality of each woman.

The comic is easily recommended.
