My two cents on 50 Girls 50 #1
We are treated and ultimately let down in this issue as the intrepid crew of ESS Savannah stumble upon an alien world that is in dire need of assistance. If the second issue of this mini-series was any indicator, the story and the creators behind it have it within themselves to tell a compelling and entertaining space opera, but sadly they fall short of that in this issue.
The art done by Axel Medellin, is just as solid and creative as the previous issues. Each girl and alien look unique enough and interesting enough to keep the story going at a decent pace.
Overall the story is ok, but it wasn't a good lead-in to the final issue and pales in comparison to the second issue in the mini-series. Hopefully #4 is handled better.
