Not just a bunch of reprints!
Most of you familiar with Marvel horror titles from the '70's think of them as reprints of Atlas/Timely. Think Chamber of Darkness, Tower of Shadows.
That's what I thought until I used CCL's ability to do search by artist (my interest in comics is primarily the artists).
I was looking up some of my favorites and saw their names coming up under Chamber of Chills. I got my hands on some of these issues (again, through CCL!) and found that they were full of new material. Not only that, the quality standards were incredible.
In this issue alone, gorgeous work by legends Frank Brunner, P.Craig Russell, Gil Kane and Val Mayerik. Any one of those would be cause for me to buy an issue, much less all of them together.
I consider this a gem of a find that only Comic Collector Live could have provided. If you are a collector and haven't tried out the free resources at the site...the library, the forums, and the shops...you are missing something. Even better than that is the collection software (free download + humble subscription fee) which lets you learn about your favorite medium in ways you haven't yet dreamt. Give it a try.
