The End? What? A reflection of what Peter Parker could have been? My gosh, typical Marvel. Great start but weak ending. I couldn't wait to read the ending, then when I got to the end, I kept thinking it wasn't over, but there it was... Those words... "The End." Yep, it was over and it left me wanting.
How cool to visit Ben Reilly's past, and get a glimpse into Kaine's struggles, but please. All this so that Peter Parker can wonder about the path not chosen? My gosh, maybe Peter didn't choose those paths, but we just read about the clones who did. So, please give us a better ending. Ohhh... too late.
OK, the art work was great. The story line was good, but the ending was a mess. I am all for character development, but please give me a plot once they are developed.
I guess if you read Amazing Spider-Man Annual 36 and the first two books in this arc, you need to read this issue, but I was a bit disappointed.
