SiImply Amazing

This is a great series, most people know Robert Kirkman’s other book the Walking Dead and rightfully so there making it into a TV series.

Invincible started as just another Superhero comic in Images new Superhero line they rolled out in 2003 or 2004. It’s the story of Mark Grayson, son of the worlds greatest superhero Omni-Man. The comic is just as much about his life being a angsty teen (with SuUper powers) as it is about his double life as Invincible. The story draws from a lot of different places so it’s easy to love this series, if you love super heroes, Dragon Ball Z, Spider-Man, Justice League, Space Operas.

I originally picked this series up in trade and I’m glad I went back and got the series in monthly format as most come with back up stories that are only available in monthly format and not in trade.

I have the whole series except 11 & 12 and it’s one of those series that when your done with an issue you can’t wait for the next. Pretty much everything Kirkman writes is gold, give it a try I’m sure you will like it.

Cory Walker’s and Ryan Ottley’s art is amazing. Corey co-created invincible but left the series early on and was replaced by Ryan Ottley.

As a whole I give the series a 5 out of 5.
