So, the idea behind each issue is that Hulk wakes up in a random place that Banner has put him after the end of each previous issue. Last time was redneck Atlantis town. This time it's secret, 1970's Soviet space station with cybernetic bears, an insane scientist and a bunch of kids in a cybernetic forest who have to see their dead mother when they turn 11. Oh, and the insane scientist who fathered these kids is banging the bears. No, seriously. He even says, "Tonight I will eat grilled American and make love to many bears..."
I don't know why Jason Aaron or Marvel thought anything about this series was a good idea, but it's simply terrible. It had already worked its way to the bottom o my Marvel pile each month. After these two issues, but particularly #9, I'm dropping it from my pull list.
