More worlds's populations disappear as the doctor ends up on one of those worlds. The Doctor and Martha are chased by killer robots as they find the only survivor, Professor Tharlot. But Tharlot and the robots are not what they appear to be, the robots are trying to capture Tharlot who is a convicted criminal and working for a group of super beings calling themselves the Pantheon. The Doctor starts to piece together puzzle of what is going on.
