As news of the destruction in California spreads, the divide between the factions of Superman worshipers grows deeper in Metropolis.
With the clone now in captivity, the Cyborg Superman refocuses on his plan to reshape earth into the image he sees fit.
Mongul seems to have his own plans though, and surreptitiously sends a video feed of the cyborg's plans to the young clone Superman.
In the Fortress, the Kryptonian finally arrives from his devastating battle with the cyborg. Close to death, the Fortress robots try to resuscitate him, but his delusional rantings grow worse. With no other choice the robots force data about his origins as the Eradicator into his psyche in the hopes of calming him.
On the bottom of the Atlantic ocean, Kal-El continues his journey back to Metropolis, resolving that the current situation is a job for the real Superman.
