Item Biography
The Daemonite S'ryn has taken control of Diane LaSalle, while his allies have possessed the bodies of Talos, Nychus, and Hexon from the WarGuard. As the members of StormWatch attempt to take them down, S'ryn takes out a window, sending Backlash, Nychus, and Hexon tumbling out into space.
While StormWatch takes down Talos, S'ryn hijacks the Peacekeeper, a newly developed stealth attackship. Backlash manages to get on board before it can escape, and is forced to attack Diane in order to separate her from S'ryn.
When Backash awakes after the battle he finds that Diane is in a coma. It is assumed that the Daemonites, along with Talos and Hexon, did not survive re-entry into Earth's atmosphere. But a piece of the alien entity still in her mind, and finding the Daemonite S'ryn may be the only way to wake her up.
