A vampire thrills as mankind descends into nuclear warfare, as the pickings are easy. He finds a resting place and sleeps for an untold time, and when he awakes, the modern world looks entirely different. He seeks his first victim, but is surprised when the man's skin is unyielding. He is told that mankind killed itself off, and that the only survivors were robots. 6 pages.
"The Tomb"
Reprinted from Mystic #7.
A rich old man sees all of his heirs as vultures, and decides to play a trick on them. He simulates his death with the help of a drug and watches their reactions. He springs up after a while to let them know that the money is still his, but they cannot see him, as he is a ghost who misjudged his trick. 5 pages.
"The Sinister Stone"
Reprinted from World of Fantasy #11.
A westerner visits an African village and sees an enormous ruby set in the villages idol. The villagers see no need to guard the gem, and the man steals it. As he makes his escape, he sees why it is not guarded, as the God of Rain watches over his own possessions. 3 pages.
"Return of the Genie!"
Reprinted from Tales to Astonish (Vol 1) #9, incorrectly cited as Astonishing Tales #9 on the splash panel.
In a follow-up story to "I-Am-the-Genie!" from Tales to Astonish #8, the ex-con-turned-genie escapes from imprisonment in the bottle and runs amok on the Earth, inflicting his revenge on humankind. He takes his escapades too far, however, and ends up as he started, although repentant. 6 pages.
